vu+ zero dead, solid white light

Hi, I use a vusolose v2, but was given a vu+ zero by a pal, the vu+ zero

However when I turn on at back, the light at front is SOLID WHITE.

I have tried 3 different usbs to try and flash many images, including bootloader also.

just stays solid white no matter what, also nothing on TV via HDMI.


remote makes the light flash, but does nothing at all.

Sounds to me its bricked and beyond repair.

Any ideas please.

Yes, read both of them, its like box has no power to usb socket or HDMI, it wont flash and light stays solid white.

Data is needed to fix this!
Your best chance of finding the problem will be to use the rs232 on the back of the zero and post the output from it. There is a thread somewhere on this forum explaining how to make this connection with the Zero. You may also try a telnet connection, but it sounds like telnet is not working. Try telnet first.
