Vu+ Zero 4K - a second USB

1. How did You discover it? Can You open another secrets?
2. And what about other pins of this contact?
As I understand, they must contain 12V and GND?
 
Im guessing ther is no 12V pins here, PVR kit is usb 2.0 external case with sata to usb converter. 2.5" SATA hdd will need 5V / 500-1000mA power, my guess is that other pins are not in use.

As I see all of Vu internal connectors are Amphenol FCI (formerly known as Mini-PV, FCI, Berg, DuPont) style connectors with 0.1inch (2.54mm pitch).
This pitch is standart and you can buy any connnectors.

1) You can buy ten "Dupont wire" and demount them for cripmped wires.
2) Insert them into "Dupont housing 2 10". (2 rows * 5 pins)

It's totally unclear what you want.
If you use a USB stick attached to the connector at the bottom of the box
and he does not work.
This means you did not connect the usb stick properly
If you use a USB to SATA Bridge Controller to connect a Hard Drive
this again means something is not well connected.

check with the voltmeter USB female connector voltages
as shown in the picture in post 1

or

with resistance meter (ohmmeter) connection between the two connectors
Box and USB Female Connector
the box must be switched off

check twice the connection between the box connector
and a USB Female Connector as shown in the picture.

I try running like that in the picture above
Because I did not operate the nerve outlet that was behind for the problem I attached to the writing and gave it to me putty

my problme is i try to change splash_auto.bin to full hd
i put the image oepnt atv 6.2 in the usb, The update was passed normally
but when i rebot my zero 4k he was stoped Permanently jaust the led in frontal marched
i try to change all image but the USB port on the back does not work
i try working with rs232 end putty, But I do not know how to deal with it

device manager to see if the USB stick is detected (Black Hole image Blue button>>blue>>Device Manager)

then you can use USB format Wizard to format USB stick ((Black Hole image Blue button>>blue>>USB Format Wizard)
and then mount in Device Manager

If the USB stick is not detected
this means something is wrong with your hardware modification
or USB stick is defective.

How Much I Know splash_auto.bin Photo/image it can only be 720x480 size format
Which means you've put in the image wrong format
and now he is blocked.

You can not put/flash image with Putty in the box.
You must use a USB port.

The reason you can not,it can be a USB stick.
Which means you have to try different USB sticks.
Best older USB sticks 2 MB or 4Mb in size.
Of course you have to format USB stick on PC (FAT format)
and to correctly copy the image flash files.

You have to follow flash process on the receiver lamp.

There is no Solution with Putty that I know.
The fact that you got into box the wrong splash_auto.bin
does not mean that box can no be longer flash via USB port
