No, you are using Open BlackHole. ( version 4.3.0.16 I).

1) Disable LAN

2) Push wlan connection and search for Wifi

3) After the Wlan searching, if any, set it with the needed parameters.

Note: There´s none issue with Wllan ( on Duo2 ).

Hi, nunigaia,
getting interested in khafanpardaz problem, I was very surprised to find out that the usual menu with the selection of the network type you like, WLAN and LAN, is actually disappeared also in my image (last OBH 4.3.016 installed in flash for my Solo4K)!

Also the Network Browser & Mountpoints (Blue panel) only proposes the LAN Connection. What happened?
I tried to disable the LAN, hoping to see the choice, and rebooted, but the only thing I can do is to re-enable the LAN connection.
So, I thought there is really some problem introduced by some of the last updates, at least for Solo4K, as in my case, and for Duo2 as reported by khafanpardaz (whom I can't try at the moment).
To check this, I reflashed by a fullbackup of mines of 011 update and, as I imagined, the classic screen appeared.

So, I think it's confirmed: some update after 011 introduced this issue.

1) Please! When you QUOTE a post, don't post everything! The way you quote (it's not the first time) means attaching also the pictures.
You can delete some parts of a post if you just need to comment that part.

2) I think you didn't catch what I wrote. There is nothing burned in your VU+: the issue occurred after one of the last updates, it seems.
I repeat: I can't verify also in my Duo2 because it's not in my house, but I was able to verify in my Solo4k that, for instance, in my FullBackup when it was at the 4.1.011 the bug was not present. Now it's present.

I don't want to try also my FullBackups with 4.0.12 and onwards because it doesn't matter which update introduced the issue. It is present now.

Have you got access to a USB WiFi adapter?
If so then try this in your Duo2 and see if you get the WLAN option.

You could also try re-flashing Open Black Hole 4.3 and see if you get the WLAN option during the initial set up options.

.

There's a built-in Wi-Fi in my box Vu+Duo2 its not external usb ,so i cannot access to my wifi
But I don't have much access to it in network settings before
in older versions it worked but Recently I realized I had no access to WiFi

I will go to the Lan Settings page after logging into the menu and then the Setup page and I will not be shown the WiFi settings or name of wifi in device after network
my box cannot detect wifi usb device
when i go to menu-settings-network-device >>> i cannot see any things about wifi
in over i seen any settings about LAN

I apologize to the respected managers for the bugs I have in posting
I did not know a better way to post and although I have been a member of the site for a long time, I am your bad student But always learning from you
and thank you for all the effort you put in.

HELP ME PLEASE

If your hardware has failed, the built in WiFi then trying an external USB WiFi adapter will help confirm this, as your VU+ Duo2 would recognize the external WiFi adapter.

I would re-flash my Duo 2, with the latest Open Black Hole 4.3 image:
https://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/openbh-4-3-vu-duo2.39485/

But by doing this you will lose all your settings, including bouquets, and channels, which you could save with dreamboxedit, but you will also have to set up everything, from the beginning, including your tuners.

If you do a re-flash don't install from a backup image, if requested, go through the normal set up process and see if you get the WLAN option, when setting up your network.

I think you did not catch what I wrote: if the bug concerns his Duo2 and my Solo4K, it means that, after all this work of reflashing by 4.3.011, the bug will come back after he will update to 4.3.016 because I reloaded my 4.3.011 (I perform a FullBackup everyday, so I can go back to whatever day) and the two types of network connection were there.
Tomorrow I'll be able also to check if this bug affects my parents' Duo2, where (as well as in my Solo4K until I had the .011) I was able to see both the LAN and the WLAN options.

Solo2 has no integrated wifi. Only when you connect an usb wifi device it will display the wlan config menu!
So, there´s no bug.

Wich device did you have, mate?

If you know wich drivers it needs, just install them and you will get the wlan setup menu!

I don't remember if also my dad's Duo2 has the same issue: I've seen him such a few times in the last 70 days... ;)

Hi Everyone, for the past few days my Duo2 had been showing there is updates and I had been doing the updates many times and it seem to be successful. But since yesterday, I realised the updates always show there are 78 updates and this is the figure that is shown whenever I did every updates previously if I did remember correctly. So today I did a new flashing with no restoring of backup and try the update again. After it rebooted, I when to check and it still show there are 78 update. It means every updates I had done before was never successful. Has anyone encounter this problem? Could any Master from OpenBlackhole tell me what is wrong please? Thank you
