2 Vu+ together

Hello, I recently bought a new Duo4K. Very good box. But I would like to keep my good old Duo2, so now I have 2 Vu+ receivers side by side. And I have a stupid problem: when I send commands from remote, both boxes are controlled, and I'm not able to separate commands between one box and the other one, so I must always switch off from back switch the box I'm not using at the moment. Is it any possible solution? Thanks.

Yes:

  1. You might set one of your RCU to for example code: 0003
  2. Use remote control code plugin, to apply your setted 0003 code RCU to the box you want.
Note: When you charge a new image ( reflash or installing on OMB ), you have to set allways at this box as referred on .2

Yes I understand. I believe that I must use 2+7 and Help procedure to enter new code in my remote, but I'm not sure about remote code plugin usage. If I change code in my RCU, how can I control the box to set plugin? I suspect the box would not respond anymore. Or am I wrong? Thanks.

You must use the one ( with code 0002 ( fabric code ) ), and then Keep/Restore to apply the new settings 0003 ( depends of the image used ).
Leave intact the one for Duo4K ... use <2>+<7> and set 0003 for DUO2.

Note: The assign of the new code for DUO4K remote control is different ( buttons used to set the RCU new code ).

Take a look at the manual that you received with your STB´s.
