2nd Vu Solo 2, remote barely responds

After finding last box was a clone and getting a refund from ebay retailer, ordered a new one from a large German retailer.

Turned up, looks like it has be pre-flased with open vix, runnng through the set up having to press the remote o.k button 10 times to get any response, really slow borderline unusable.

Changed batteries and also have anothe Vu Solo2 remote from previous and that behaves the same.

? Do I have dud.
 
You could try flashing a new image and see if it improves.
On Black Hole you can check the system resources, by pressing the Blue button, followed by the yellow button, check to see if Vix has a similar utility.
 
Thank you Mick, just did exactly that. Flashed with latest BH & now all o.k. Will leave as is! Whatever was pre-installed was causing issue from the off.
