A Friends VU Zero backup

I mate of mine has a VU Zero, don't know what image is on it yet. His box is all set up with everything running ok, is it possible to do a backup of the image and all settings then restore these to another Zero to speed things up for getting another box up and running in no time, if this is possible can someone go through the process?
Hope someone can help me?
