Accedently pressed two buttons at the same time

On my duo2 with BH 2.1.5 I was deleting a channel by clearing the transponder when scanning and somewhere during this or after it (cant remember ) I accidentally pressed two or three buttons on my infra red control together (my fat thumb) and now in THAT SATELLITE transponder at a certain frequency I have about 60 FREE SLOTS. Yes the Duo2 comes up say from channel 60 to 120 FREE SLOT 60 or 61 or 62 so on til say 120.
I tried scanning this transponder 12526H 30000 3/4 and selecting clear before scanning but that won't get rid of them. I have tried via Dreambox edit and deleted them and send the file back to the duo 2 but I can't get rid of these FREE SLOTS.
How do I get rid of them.

I've tried sending an earlier backup file of all my satellites and channels to the duo2 and nothing has changed as I still have all these FREE SLOTS only for this one satellite. This is what happens when you do things in a hurry as to save one second now I have a headache

After sending backup you have reboot your box ?
Yes I have done that (reboot) at least 3 times. Tell me in dreambox edit ver 6.0.0.2 when you send the back up file back to your duo2 is there another setting or a setting that I might not have set in the Options that has to be set to save the backup on the Duo2.
The reason I ask this is After I manually delete those FREE SLOTS on dreambox edit by highlighting them all and hit the delete button and it ask you do you want to delete these channels I say yes I then save the altered file and send it back to the duo2 and re boot it but there still there.
Another thing that I suspect that its not over writing the duo 2 is months ago I tried to re name a channels name by using the re name channel option on Dreambox Edit so I re name it, dreambox edit shows its re named, I save it, and send it back to the duo2 and re boot it but it still has its original name which is NHK 1080 60 and I want to change it to NHK World. his is a simple tak but yet it can't do it.
Now why isn't it renaming it on the duo2. Again is there a setting or a procedure I'm doing wrong sending my altered file (say re edit the channels name). Please note I have had this issue on 3 BH images but have had no problems sending my backup to the duo2 on a fresh image install. Its only odd on Channels name editing or like this current problem I have which is how to get rid of these 60 odd FREE SLOTS positions all numbered one after each other and when the last one is finished I go back to my original named channels.

What rotten luck a person could have, what a coincidence. See I was scanning a satellite Intelsat 19 Ku and I successfully scanned it and noted some channel changes in two KU transponders but 20 minutes later I rescanned the entire ku transponder AGAIN and all these FREE SLOT channels appeared because I do remember accidentally pressing more button than one all at the same time and blamed this as maybe it corrupted the transponder list so I tried to remove these FREE SLOTS on two transponders, there were over 60 of them on the two transponders, I even tried to block the LNB, Re scanned the two transponders, and because the LNB was blocked all the FREE SLOT and existing channels became "NA" so I re booted the box and all were gone YEAH but when I rescanned those two transponder all of them came back. Mind you I tried everything to get rid of them but they would not go. Now I became desperate and turned on my Openboxes and scanned the same two transponders and the OpenBoxs are now full of FREE SLOTS in with the other channels.
Conclusion is: I scanned all transponders and all were normal , some new channels and the old ones gone but 15 minutes later I decided to rescan the lot again, i did slip with my thumb and pressed more that one button (after FREE SLOTS were found I blamed corruption) at a time but what i did not know was between my first scan and the second scan around 15 min the provider did some changes and I was conned to think there was a problem when actually these FREE SLOTS the full collection of them were actually added by the provider (over 30 per transponder with another 10 or 12 TV and radio Channels). Thanks for the OpenBoxes because they solved my problem. IDIOT ME.! How unlucky can you be.

Very interesting. doing my usual sat site readings I found this on the Apsattv.com web site for yesterdays news.

Intelsat “jammed” by Aussie satellite

Normally satellite operators go to huge lengths to ensure that adjacent spacecraft do not interfere with their near-neighbours. But Singapore Telecom-owned Optus, which operates over Australia, has caused major headaches for satellite giant Intelsat. According to local reports Optus is causing interference to users of Intelsat-19.

Optus-10 was launched last September and completed its in-orbit testing at the end of October 2014. It carries 24 Ku-band transponders from the 164 degrees East orbital position. The problem is that there are a number of other Intelsat satellites in near-proximity, and one of them, Intelsat-19 operates just 2 degrees of arc away from Optus-10 at 166 degrees East. Intelsat-19 carries dedicated Ku-band beams that target all of Australia and New Zealand. Intelsat-19 has been in position since June 2012.

Optus and Intelsat have had a satellite co-ordination agreement in place since 2004. Reportedly a meeting took place last week and the result is that Optus has had to limit the power of its signals on some of its transponders in order to curb interference.

Optus, in a statement, said: “Optus understands that Intelsat is experiencing some level of interference. We are working with Intelsat to assist them in resolving their interference issues, however there is work Intelsat are required to undertake to also assist in this process.”

Tony Ishak, the managing director of World Media International, which distributes foreign-language TV content via the Intelsat satellite, is quoted by the Sydney Morning Herald saying that its 30,000 customers were suffering service interruptions from the Optus craft.

The temporary solution, shak said, gave Intelsat’s customers time to change frequencies on their satellite dishes. “But this is a big ask,” he said. “It costs at least $200 to send someone out to realign the dish, then there is the logistics of making sure someone is home and the weather. It’s a headache”.

Ishak said he was now torn between changing the co-ordinates of his customers, and staying with Intelsat, or switching over to Optus, saying there was no guarantee realigning satellite dishes would stop future service interruptions.

Ishak said the satellite co-ordination agreement between the two companies had triggered a grey area. “Intelsat and Optus obviously oppose each other but who’s to say that Intelsat won’t have another satellite in the airspace… and jam them to give them [Optus] a hard time? It just shows that you really can’t pre-empt how technology is going to work down the track, and that’s what everyone is learning now.”

(Craig's comment, WMI, aka MYSAT on 12646 H)

Now Intelsat 19 is where I experienced the problem and Frequency 12646 was one of the two of my effected frequencies (plenty of Free Slots)and because my dish is twice the size that is needed for the service on this Sat (Bigger dish= less drop out during our heavy rain periods) I would not be surprised if I was picking up the transponder data from the adjacent Optus 10 Satellite only two degrees away.
Again if this is the case what rotten luck, and bad timing by me.
The above might not have been my problem as even 2 Degrees is long way and my dish would have to be either to big, sat power to High on the Optus Satellite, or my dish is of poor quality but its not misaligned as I have just set it up.
