Add-on Easy Advanced Setting and Write .XML settings

Hi, have any of you ever used the Add.on Easy Advanced Setting to improve the Kodi 18.9 buffer?
Especially the "Write XML File" option to save the settings made.
My problem is that the XML file is empty without any settings saved, even when restarting the system.
