Addons not showing in green panel

I have just installed Blackhole 3.0.1.F on my Vu+ Duo2 box and installed multiple plugins.

Two of the addons I have tried to install will not show up on the Green Panel installed plugins menu. No errors were shown when installing them.

The ones that are missing are:
MediaPortal, either from direct download from Internet of via *******.
XMLTVimport, done as above.

I can find MediaPortal on the Vu in several places, but not in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions. See attached file.
This one is shown in the extension delete panel.



And for xmltvimport, it can only be found in /usr/uninstall. See attached file.

Where can I find an installation log? Can anyone help to clear up why these two addons are not shown on the green panel despite no errors being reported in the installation view.

After trying for more than 5 hours before I wrote this thread, I tried once more to install MediaPortal via ipk method, this time WITH SUCCESS!!!
I would still like to know why the install failed multiple times, and using multiple versions as well.

I will try installing xmltvimport again. Perhaps it too will suddenly instal!

After the successful install of Mediaportal, i started it up and it asked if I wanted to upgrade to a newer version, which I did. After the upgarde and the restart of the Vu+ all traces of the plugin has disappeared from the green panel! It still exists in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions.

So again I ask the question: Why has this addon not appeared on the green panel?
Any suggestions? Could it be that BH 3.0.1.F has problems with older extensions? Could it be that there is a maximum to the number of extensions that can be shown on the green panel?

The reason is, there is a file missing that the plugin needs to work on Vu+ boxes that the author is not including in the updates.

Do you know which file is missing and if so, where I can find it and where I have to put it on my Vu+?

There's nothing missing, afaik atm with Mediaportal.

Everyone can update it to the lastest version on using the addons feeds, lastest version V.7.4.3

I went back to BH 2.1.7.01 and MediaPortal 7.3.5 and have no other problems. I did make sure that the automatic update
in MediaPortal was OFF. This version works for me and I am afraid to update to the next version in case I get all those problems again.

I did the same action!! All other tentative was unsuccesful...
