Advice required for BH 2.0.4

Hi I am a newbee at all this stuff I have downloaded the BH image 2.0.4 I was going to put it on my usb still and flash my box as normal but is it ok to do this as it doesn't say its a usb file ?

I've not understood what are you asking for, but here you can find the how to for image upgrade: HowTo flash/update Vu+ images

Moreover, I don't understand why you are installing an old image instead of the last one released: Black Hole Vu+ Duo v.2.0.8
