Hi,

If anyone currently in Australia has a VU+ solo and has the Australian channels or if anyone even outside Aus has Australian channels, please Private message me. I just don't now how to get it all running.

How is configured your dish? Motorized, single or multi LNB?

My dish is on the roof. It is a pretty good dish.
Any ideas? Like I when I scan, I find the channels I want and used to have but they don't play and the screen is just black? Also, the way it used to be categotrised is all gone :(

nobody says that you have a bad dish. paolino asked you what kind of dish you have and i just post you 3 kind of the dish that you might have. when someone ask you what kind of dish you have, he or she want to know what config you must set on your box based on dish type.
we need to know how many lnb you have, witch satellite you use and etc.
so please don't answer with good or bad.

Ok I wasn't trying to be rude. I just said its a dish on the roof. How do I check what type I have wthout going on the roof?

If I understand from your writing, you can and you have scanned channels
Do you have these channels in the satellite list ?

Can you make them choose ?

If you do not have a picture
And you can choose then the problem lies elsewhere.

if you have a central dish and you and your neighbors use just one dish, you can ask one of them.
if you have separate dish for your self, i think there is no way and you must go and see your dish. maybe you can call the person that installed your dish and ask the question.

may i ask something?? what did you do caused this problem?

The important information you can give to us is what satellite do you want to scan: if you don't know that information you can ask to people to install the dish and the LNB.
