Duo / DuoLE Artefacts problems, only for some transponders

My VU+ duo has picture artefact problems on some transponders services.

The weird thing is that it only occurs on some DVB S2 transponders (not every DVB S2 transponder) and it doesn't occurs on any DVB S transponder.

After some tests :
> It's not an image problem (I've change it, from VTI 6.0 to the latest openpli) : same problem
> It's not a signal problem
> It's not a cam problem...
> It's mabye a temperature problem, but it would surprise me : it immediatly occurs after a night OFF on the transponder that has artefacts problems, and it never occurs on other services
> It's mabye a tuner problem, but it would surprise me : exactly the same problems occurs with tuner #2, on the same transponder, and not on the others...

The transponder with artefacts problem is :
12012.00 V 80 Astra 1M DVB-S2 8PSK 29700 2/3

An other transponder, on the same sat, that is ok :
12207.00 V 90 Astra 1M DVB-S2 8PSK 29700 2/3

My stepfather has the same config, (image, settings...) and has NO problem with it's VU+ duo...

I think it's time to check warranty and ask seller for repair .....
 
Sorry Matrix ? You maybe mean : have you tried to move your receiver ?

That could be a good idea, the problem could effectly come from a magnetic field or some things like that...

@Angel : the vu+ warranty is over.
 
As long as moving the VU+ duo had no effect on the artefacts problem, I'm going to replace de famous C807 capacitor that I already changed 9 month ago. I remember that I had picture problems before having the Red Led syndrome.

I'll post the result here.

You can test on location from your stepfather then you know for sure where is the problem ??
