No progress ATM to add ATSC native support into E2 images.

ATSC on BlackHole was very close to working. I do not really understand why it did not fully work.
How about trying the ATSC in the Open BlackHole image? I think it would be worth trying because some things in that image are different.

I've read a lot of time ago the Pli code (base of OpenBH image) and there is some piece of sources that refer to ATSC but it's not working as BH images.

I have seen several ATSC listings in the Nimmanager and other PLi python files. I only suggest that you add the same items to Open Black Hole as you did to the first ATSC test images and see if it works.
Everything in your ATSC test images seemed to work except the scanned channels were greyed out and did not seem to be connected with the ATSC tuner. I am thinking this problem may not exist in Open Black Hole. I would try it myself, but I do not know exactly what you added or altered to make the ATSC image.

I've been seen entries about ATSC into Pli image but the implementation is not complete and lacks of big parts: ATSC protocol handling ...
I hope to have a lot of spare time to make a rework with OE 3.0 ...

Don't waste your time with it. Vu+ is currently blocking 3rd party tuners by manipulating the video output (eg. bad picture or bad audio). You will find several posts in this forum about it. Several manufacturers are affected by it not only a single one.

Success!
Have successfully and fully tested WinTv850 usb device in SatDreamGR experimental image! I will be glad to test any future ATSC BlackHole image.
Off Topic,
Also, TBS5925 support was added recently to OpenPLi images. Will be glad to test the addition of this usb device to any future BlackHole image.
