Automatic Channel Scan - no channels

Hi,
I upgraded my Solo2 from 2.0.5 to 2.0.6 last week. I had backed up my settings so the upgrade was easy and everything seemed to be working afterwards.
I noticed yesterday that some of my channels weren't working. I looked into it further and discovered that some of the channels have been changed (frequency etc) so I did an automatic channel scan to pick up the changes.
The scan found 0 channels (and cleared all my existing channels by default).
I restored from my backup so I have channels again.

I don't know why the automatic channel scan didn't find any channels.
Can anyone help me?

Hi there I was wondering if you could tell me what the "Rev C" is. I ran an automatic scan which is not picking up all the channels for me which is beginning it irritate me a bit. I had the box working perfect on both tuners but over the xmas for some reason everything has gone belly up! Im using the VU+ solo2 box. would my tuner config settings effect which channels are picked up on the scan. I tried with tuner A set to 28.2e and tuner B set to 19.2e and i also set them both to 28.2e but still the same problem with the priority set to auto on both. I appreciate you hep in advance.

Hi Brian,

It was a few months ago now, but I believe the "Rev C" was the latest patch to the firmware at the time.
Of course time has moved on since then as we are now on 2.0.8.1 (I think).

When I set my tuners up I set them both to 28.2e for Sky TV.
I left all the other tuner settings as default.
Alternatively you could download a channel bouquet and install it.
I get mine from www.mrsbuckets.co.uk but there are other alternatives.

If that doesn't work I am sure there are many experts on the forum that can help you.
