Autotimer on multituner?

Im thinking of buying a vu+ Ultimo for recording programs on keywords using multiple tuners. I need to use the DVB-C/T tuners for recording from my cable-TV.

I understand I will need the autotimer plugin for recording on keywords. For me it is important that the VU+ box will record simultanuous programs on different channels.
Can someone please tell me if autotuner sees that there is another (second or third) tuner availabe if the first (or even first two) tuners are busy recording?

Do I need a specific modded firmware for this?
