Hi Bh lover,
Yes I appreciate where the back up is located...Menu-setup, however, when I press the button to make the backup, nothing happens. I get a message to say the backup can take several minutes, but after a long wait, nothing happens and the same message is on the screen. I then can't cancel the operation, my only recourse is to switch off the VU and reboot.

Menu > Backup Menu > BlackHole Full Backup > (path to store Full Backup is in my case /media/hdd/) > red button - On my Solo2 takes about 4 minutes, on Duo 8 minutes.
It's written "Please, be patient.....". Doing a backup on USB flash could be longer (30 minutes), depends on USB stick speed
 
I Am newbie and would like to know whether a black hole backup for duo or ultimo can be used in vu+ UNO, I have got uno i have tried but it isn't working for me.
I have tried few personal backups from online.

no you cant use ultimo or duo backup to uno it wont work for your uno try uno backup
