Background scanning issue

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can stop the background scanning of channels?

I have edited my channel lists so certain channels are deleted but the next day some of the channels which I deleted return.On my previous reciever I used to be able to turn background scanning off so it doesn't find new channels.

I have a VU+duo with the latest 1.7.2 image.

Background scanning for DVB-T channels doesn't exist.
I know only wifi background scanning but this is anotehr business...
