Press Menu on your RCU ( Remote control unit ), choose SETUP and press <OK>, choose CUSTOMIZE and press <OK>, scroll down until you found DISABLE BACKGROUND SCANNING change it from NO to YES. Press <OK>, press EXIT to leave CUSTOMIZE settings.
