Backup from BH 2.1.1 for BH 2.1.5

I'd like tu upgrade my vu+ solo2 from BH 2.1.1 firmware to 2.1.5. I have read that "Please use software manager to backup your settings before you flash" because the personal backup doesn't work from 2.1.1 to 2.1.5. How can I do the backup please?
