Backup Location not configurable

Hello there,

I found a strange problem when experimenting with BH 2.1.1 on my Vu+ Duo2.

I can't change the backup path for full and personal backup; neither under Main Menu --> Backup Menu nor under Menu -> setup -> Software Managment -> Advanced Options -> Choose backup location (as described in the thread HOWTO UPGRADE FROM 2.0.2 TO 2.0.3 SAVING ALL YOUR SETTINGS)

In first case nothing happens when I press OK on "Path to save"-entries in backup menu.

In the second nothing happens when I press OK on "Choose backup location". Current location shows a CIFS share I already unmounted and fully rebooted the Vu+. When I start the personal backup there ist no error message, but nothing is written (writing to an unmounted share? *cough*). Very, very strange. Any ideas how to fix this except by a complete reflash?

For now I just call the backup scripts manually over telnet which works well as a workaround.

Hello again,

I tested today with a freshly flashed image. For the first case it stays the same - is it really intended behaviour that we can't change the location of the backup?

It would be cool to be able to save it to network storage for example ... for now I just worked around it with hdd symlinked to where I want the backup and all physical partitions mounted as hdd1 ... hddx. That's quite some necessary manual work for some living-room equipment

Another idea: Changing the scripts for the result to contain the date of the full / personal backup would be cool so we can build an archive of backups.
