While most USB keyboards technically work, their function is very limited.
Basic navigation works, but as soon as it gets a little more complex, such as search fields and similar, keyboard input is no longer accepted ,and it is time to find the remote again.
I miss the feature most in addons, youtube and similar. I noticed there were some facebook plugins, i would really hate to use that on a remote..
Since the problem is most obvious in plugins, maybe a trick would be to "adjust" the remote input system,to also accept input from HID USB devices, so that the change is made centrally,rather than each addon/plugin has to take usb keyboards in consideration?
I have a small Logitech K400 keyboard which i bought for the vu+, but i frankly never bother to use it since i eventually end up using the remote anyway .
(the touchpad is even less used= never, but i can imagine it would be a giant task and another story..)
