BH 2.1.0 Bug Teletext ???

Hi,

there is ab bug in Teletext reported for duo2 and solo2.

Box can only be restarted with power button on the back.

Can you have a lokk on this?

Ok there is a workaround to get teletext working for those that need it.

telnet into your box and then type the command

Code: 
opkg update
and press enter.

Then type the command

Code: 
opkg --force-overwrite upgrade
and press enter again.

When it has finished, reboot your box and teletext will be working.
 
Only noticed this tonight, never tried the teletext function, in the last release of Black Hole, just used telnet, and the commands, and will test it tomorrow.
 
Many thanks, that's fixed the problem. I don't use the teletext option, but on pressing the button, accidentally, I noticed that I couldn't escape, without using the rear button for a forced re-boot.
Now, if I accidentally press the teletext button again, the exit option works. I even checked the software update option, to see if there was a fix, before searching the internet.

What upgrade? Was there an specific upgrade made for the teletext modul in the version BH 2.1.0 ? I doubt that.

Check your image version and see if it still says 2.1.0

Yes there was, and yes it's still 2.1.0
 
This is not correct

From readme me of 2.0.9 version
Teletext: Update to the latest tuxtxt version (this fix rai hd televideo too)

Infact I had teletet n Rai1HD till upgade to 2.1.0 version

But Rai1HD with this option has the text of RAi3 on the same trasponder, and rai2HD ,rai3HD do not have any teletext...

It's true. None of those channels have Teletext. And if there is no channel with it on TP, you can't see any.
