BH 3.0.1 Recording problems

Hello, I've installed this image a few days ago on a Solo SE V2.
I've mounted an external hdd eSata , mounted as /media/hdd and it works fine with savings of epg.dat and as storage for video files to use with media player.
But the instant recording doesn't start: if i push the recording button and I choose one of the options of the panel that appear (recording time, unlimited recording, ecc.) the blue circle at the top left start blinking and the decoder freeze in this status, with the channel keeping streaming in background but to exit the menu I must turn off the rear ON/OFF button.
I've tried many times and I've updated all the package by the online software update of the BH, but I haven't got any difference.
Do you have some suggestions?

In your hdd, is present the folder movie?
Has the movie folder the 755 permissions?
 
Check the path for the instant record location, it should be /hdd/movie

Enable expert mode in Customize menu:
Menu > Setup > System > Customize > Setup Mode: Expert
then
Menu > Setup > System > Recording Path
Select the item Instant record location by pressing the OK button
in the next panel select the path /hdd/movie by pressing the arrow down button press the OK button to save and to return to Recordings Paths panel.
Finally press the green button to save all the setting and to exit from the panel.
 
Thank you but i've already set the correct path for recording . Otherwise neither the timer recording would work..
 
I've set hdd/movie as default recording path and then i've set "default path" as path of timer recordings and istante recordings. .it should be the same thing
 
I've just tried to set the path /hdd/movie also where there was set "default path" but it still doesn't work.. always freezing on the window of recordings with blue circle pulsing..
 
Maybe it is a problem of power supply of your hdd.
Does it have an external power supply?
 
The real path is media/hdd/movie but the black hole doesn't consider media folder. .anyway the strange thing is that the timer recording works fine with the same path of instant recording
