BH and media Servers

Hi all,

I have recently installed BH 2.1.5 and want to stream files from my home PC where i run media server applications such as serviio, mezmo, etc.

What is the application i should use to connect to my home media server ?
I think it is a better solution than the embedded in BH media player as there are some issues with various languages subtitles.
 
What problems do you have with subtitles in Media Player? cause i havent seen any problems with that, else try the deluxe media player you can download as an addon. Both works fine for me. And you can just mount your share from the pc on the Vu box though BH :)
 
thanks for the reply, i have already mounted what i want and everything is available and played correctly with Media Player, although the subtitles language does not appear properly and is illegible. Are you sure that the embedded media player recognizes all types of subs (in .srt files) ? is there an option or setting to choose subs language ?

I have seen deluxe media player but haven't tried so far. i shall check it out.

There is no way to stream through other media server as questioned ?
 
Yeah push the yellow button when you are the media player an have chosen a file, then first it tells the audio track push yellow again and it comes to the subs.

I havent tried other media servers so cant answer that question sorry :)
