Black Hole Plugins Server help

Hi all, i hope someone can help me.
Im having trouble installing addons/plugins from the addons/plugins menu on black hole. Im running the latest version 1.7.8 but i have also had this problem on previous versions. I successfully download the addon/plugin lets say a skin for example and it downloads then asks if i want to install, i click green for yes and i get a message saying it has installed correctly. I reboot and the skin hasn't installed?? This is the same for any of the addons/plugins not just skins.

Anyone had this problem or any idea why this might be happening. Can the blackhole server be accessed from the net so i can try installing them manually?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Some items downloaded from Addon Server should be enabled after their installation.
Skins must be selected from Skin function into Menu->Config->System->Skin function (for example)
 
Thanks angelofsky, i went into menu/settings/system/skin and the only skin listed was the default skin. Same with plugins, i download, install and reboot but when i go into the plugins menu the one i downloaded and installed is not there. Very strange.
 
Maybe the skin wasn't compatible and didn't install correctly.
Try it again and have a good look at the scrolling text when it installs

Try to reboot your box before installing plug.
 
I have posted a similar problem on another thread (hope this does not cause any problems) I run BH1.7.7 and have tried all the skins via blue/yellow buttons - addons DM - BH Image Skins. each program downloads, askes if ok to install, yes. I then go to the Menu select setup - system - skin - select the skin to install and each time I see the sames message: Sorry this skin is not compatable with current Black Hole image version.
