mod has mentioned to use bh speed up plugin (press blue twice) then you can disable plugins you do not use - that will stop loading unwanted plugins during start up process therefore image will start quicker

My experience with BH Speed Up is that it only changes bootup marginally = a few seconds, depending on a typical use. External drives and waiting for mountpoints can really slow down.
I dont understand the big problem though, i only use the real shutdown once a week or something, all other times i use standby,which it resumes from in a second.
