Hello Every one,

I just bought a VU+ Uno :

The favorite channels are already Set and the positionner is properly configured but the BH image version is 1.6.4

My question is: is there a way to upgrade to the last BH image 1.7.2 and keep my favorites and my positioner setting ?

I'm really not confortable with setting the positioner again :) ... I had to pay a guy to do it in the first place.

You can make a backup by Software Manager.
Menu > Setup > Software Manager > Backup system settings

By default, the backup file will be saved on /media/hdd/backup

If you have an hdd installed on your Uno, you don't need to do nothing else.
After installing the new image you will be asked if you want to restore your backup.

Actually I do not have an internal HDD yet. is it possible to backup the settings into a USB drive ?

Yes,
long blue>software management > Advance Option > Choose backup location.
