Blackhole seems to be updating

Hi,

I have a VU+ Duo using BH 2.1.4 I`ve been using this version since it come out. The last week or so I`ve noticed the Blackhole icon (top left hand corner of screen, round circle) seems to be refreshing (or something) it only started like I said a few days ago (not since I started using 2.1.4).

It last about 30 seconds or so and comes on about every 15/30 mins or so. You can still watch the programes (either live or recorded) I have a 1TB HD installed and have a 32GB USB stick installed at the back for CrossEPG and also a Swap File set for 256MB.

I have never seen this happen before on any version since I have used my Duo for the last 3 years or so. I suppose I could reflash and start from scratch again but wanted to check if anyone else has seen this before. I was hoping there would have been an update by now so I could use that
 
My Duo2 runs BH 2.1.4, I did not notice the issue you faced. However, I have notice the similar things when somethings are wrong. For example, when I am playing a stream, if the source has some problem, the disk spin (as you seen) apeared. Sometimes, have no way to stop the spin until switchs off from the back. I have not found the solution.

I`ve tried switching off at the back and restart up but still the same. Its only been noticed the last week so not from the start when I updated to 2.1.4. Its still watchable (except when want to say change ch while its spinning, I have to wait for it to stop). I could try a reflash but was hoping it was a fix I could do without doing that. As I`ve only noticed it the last week I will leave it (unless it gets to bad) I will wait for an update to 2.1.4 either online update or new reflash.

First, I do not know what cause the issue. In my case, if I am not playing streem, there is no problem, therefor, I do not think it is a simple issue which caused by the BH. However, if some plugins or some procedures which require access the dardisk or looking for something which are not in the hardisk (including system files), the problem starts. After I noticed this, I stop playing some stream, the issue never happens. I think you may upload your log file, here are so many experts who may help with this issue. The future function I would ask BH team considered is to create some kind key combination to kill the frozen screen. If a new update can do it, we may not need to switch off the frozen screen by the rear switch.
 
I did a complete re-flash yesterday with a new copy of BH 2.1.4b for the duo it seems to be Ok now. I put on the same add ons I had before.
The only one I have not done was cool tv guide not because I thought this was doing it just not bothered.

The main thing is its all stable again the problem I had orginally has gone
