Why the hostname BM750 on the VU+
What is the history behind it?
Google did not give me any clue
 
CPU is BCM 7335.
AFAIK, BM750 was the original STB name from Marusys. Then they decided to create a secondary Company Name "Vu Plus" and then STB was called Vu Duo instead.
 
So why not change it to some more meaningful then??
Like for this image "BlackHole" :)
Just edit \etc\hostname
 
The entire PDK is based on this name, so I think it is a waste of time and liable to errors.
Many other things have to be done before :)
