BOOTING from usb ( but i dont want)

I posted my problem in image section,but no help, sorry, i must try here:

Dear all,
i will try very simple:
-i used USB on my UNO- continoulsy plugged in to UNO. Storing picins, backups..etc.

-NOW- i wanted the same way in DUO (also the 174 universe image need it) BUT IF I HOLD THE USB in DUO- it want to BOOT up from USB every each time when i reboot from menu or from switch. The problem is that the DUO WONT boot up becouse USB doesnt contain any image. only the picons, and universum ..

-YES- i formatted the 4gb usb with blue panel
-YES- it mounted to UNIVESUM.

Now every time when i switching n the DUO on back panel.i need to pull out the USB and after switching on 3 second must insert.

I doing something wrong, beocuse i didnt read about this problem nowhere..

HOW to HOLD the USB in DUO but no boot from there if i dont want to. it will NOT BOOT UP NEVER if its inside without the image on USB.

ANY help for me stupid...?

First question, do you have any other thing connected, such as usb tuner or esle?
Try to remove everything except universe pen.
 
no, nothing -only one regular tuner. only A- and Esata inserted to external HDD - no internal HDD.

i did:
startin for 1 second, after : READING USB.....

and NOTHING happened, becouse NO IMAGE on usb.. only picons
must PULL out the usb and swtich on and after 1 second insert USB.

MORE logical and clever with UNO...

This DUO with this USB makes me crazy

I think you`re missing the point this has nothing to do with the fact that there is no image on the stick.
Your problem is your usb stick.

I cannot understand.
You said in the first post you formatted usb for universe, now you say you have picons on usb.

My suggestion is.
Boot your box without anything.
Follow the instruction of usb format wizard and format it.
Then reboot, mount it as universe reboot.
If it doesn't work this way, my suggestion is you try another usb stick.
IT seems as you pen is bad formatted or not compatible.

thx. its formatted for universe but i installed picins also on that usb.

-i followed- after the format wizzard: first reboot : stuck -hold- freezed on: reading usb....
i really try other usb , thank you... i will let you know.

-but tell me one thing. if you have duo with usb inserted.. and swirching on main switch--
how your duo booting up?? please tell me
 
TO all of my freinds from this forum:
i try with other small 256mb usb and it works as it should to BE!!

it rebooting as Uno- simply continue after startup!

I will close this tread- thank you so much!
The USB made me crazy...

Well finally it is sorted :)
So it was a problem with usb stick.
