Can I connect another stb to my Vu+(uno 4k se)? I connected another stb using hdmi but I am not able to see anything related to other stb. Pressing on "AV" button on the vu+ remote doesn't do anything.
This board is now closed. The Blackhole image ended in 2020.
The board will remain available in Read Only Mode, so all the posts from the last 15+ years are not lost.

Press the blue button (continuing to press) until the respective menu appears. Enable "HDMI IN" pressing key 1 - to activate it, to disable it, key 1 again.

Thanks for your answer, it works. When I try to record from Hdmi In , the record is very problematic, it basically can't record, I think it is cause the other stb is using smartcard for decoding, so I think there is no way to record it...

Thanks for your answer.I've looked at the webpage you gave, unfortunately it's not possible for now if I understand it correctly.
The other stb is not E2, I think it is a closed source stb which was given by a broadcaster platform.
I am thinking about switching to "module subscription" of the same broadcaster , so I will directly put the module into Vu+, I hope it can record the same channels in this way...

I had thought it was cause of encryption, but I tried connecting just an old dvd recorder/player , I tried to record what the dvd player played but it still couldn't record.So it can't record anything from hdmi-in port I think.
