Vu+ Newbie
Hi, i have a vu+ Solo running the latest black hole image and i was wondering if there is a way to scan for new channels or channels that might have changed frequency without having to do a complete rescan? I don't mean updating bouquets.
Forgive me if this is a dumb question i am quite new to the vu+.

Thanks in advance

How to look for new channels without scanning ??

In manual scan you have few options for scan ,you can use .
If the channel remains on the same transponder then you scan only single transponder.
The same applies if you know where is a new channel / transponder .
But If you do not know of course that you must scan the whole satellite to find.

Does this mean that Vu+ updates new transponders automatically during the scan??

This would be great as I still have to look Kingofsat for new channels, I`m new in linux receivers:wallbash:

the best thing to do is to use a sattelite.xml files with the last transporders and use the manuelly research x), you can generate the xml file here http://satellites-xml.eu/ and you drop it in etc/tuxbox and after that you reboot your Vu+ and do the manuel research x)

Another way is a plugin, SVDownloader, that can read from internet a set of settings made from good guys. ;)
