This is a weird one

Can watch any channel and record another fine.

However, when in the kitchen on my laptop connects to WebIF and streams a channel, the streaming fine. However back in the lounge where we are watching TV connected to the box, the recording light comes on on the box and we can only watch the channel being steamed via WebIF.

None of the channels on channel list are greyed out as they would be if there was no free tuner so there is a free tuner.

It never used to do this, I used to be able to stream any channel and watch another on the box whilst recording another.

any ideas
?

If I understand correctly the recording light comes on the box
When you're close to the box.
If this is true
It is clear that this is an interference, problem.
Of course it is hard to tell what kind
you have to test.
if the problem is present when the box physically can not see your laptop .

no its not an interference
the WebIf stream prevents any other channel being watched using the remote
When WebIF stream stops, all is normal and ok
nothing to do with interference

Then I'have not understood you well .
If you have only one antenna / cable / LNB connected to tuner A
You can see or record at the same time only channels on the same transponder,
probably only two in total, one to watch and a second record (or stream)
I must emphasize that I did not check all this with WebIF streaming.
Maybe someone else did..

2 x LNB - tuner A and Tuner B.

All fine. Can watch all channels on any transponders

When WebIF streaming, can only watch channel on single transponder

When WebIF streaming stop, all is fine

I understand that now.
Unfortunately I do not have an answer because I do not have dual LNB sat installation.
