Any advice on which are the best channels to get the 5 day epg for the Canal Nordic channels on Thor 0.8 West rather than just the now and next... I do occasionally get the full 5 day epg. I'm not sure which channel I have zapped onto to update the epg.

Motors TV or any other channel in the same transponder, you will find them from kingofsat.
Or just start use CrossEPG/XMLTVimport with Rytec
