Change network name (BM750) on VU+ DUO

danop

Vu+ Newbie
I got 2 pieces VU+ DUO (lucky me) and I rearly like to se the units on my pc (running Windows7 64bit), but in my network there is only one BM750 to "see", so I presume there is a conflict
because both have the same network name. Am I right? And if so, is it possible to change name on one of them?

You can change network name using NetworkManager.
It's instlled by default in BH.
If you use other images search it or download from Software Manager.

/etc/hostname

change at this file what you need...

Thank you for your ansvers. I have been looking in /ect/ and found hostname as a file with no extention - how do I edit the file?
Is there a special program for that? Normalwise I use TotalCommander.

I use joe editor on the VuDuo box.
The /etc/hostname is a simple text file in Unix format.
