I have noticed that some videos I play, via the Media Player, doesn't scale the picture as it does via the tuner mode. That is, if a channel is broadcasting in 16:9 the picture auto changes when I switch to a channel broadcasting in letterbox. However, this doesn't happen when viewing movies. Does anyone know if it is possible to configure the Media Player to auto scale or is there a plugin available to do this?
 
Yeah, I tried that. It doesn't work though. It seems to install fine and I map a switch key correctly but when I press it (to toggle aspect ratio) it shows on screen the ratios but the actual screen doesn't change!?
 
Did you try to press your key some times?
Also check in BH's system setup - video configuration "Show contents in 4:3 as" PILLARBOX and "Show contents > 16:9 as" LETTERBOX (this is my configuration).
