Mediamarkt Germany has the Toshiba Stor.e Plus as special offer in their local stores:
2TB, 2,5", USB 3.0 - 111 Euro
Break the case, take of the USB 3 controller board and you have a cheap, internal SATA drive!

The drive touches the case of my VU+ Solo2, but fits perfectly!
