hello,
for a simple test i need to buy an usb dvb-c device (and if all works can be the right time to buy the ultimo: i like it's display ;) )
is just for a test and so i'm looking for the cheapest working one doesn't matter if with the 1.6.6 or the new 1.6.7
(i know that is possible to buy one then return it to the shop in few days but i don't like that way)
any suggestion about any "model" is very appreciated
thanks

Welcome to DVB-C club testers.
Why you look around for a DVB-C device? ;)

This DVB standard is not very good supported and doesen't exist an updated list of devices...
PCTV 290e is a DVB-T/T2/C device (supported by 1.6.7)

You can look here: http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-C_USB_Devices (but the url is not updated :( ) but I suggest TechnoTrend TT-Connect C-1100 USB ;)

Other devices can be supported ... but find them it's very hard :(

thx
found the pctv290e e "son svenuto.."
but i cannot find the c-1100

the http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge 930c, could works? (about 65e :( maybe is possible the few days test trick with it: these devices are so expensives )
there's not any low cost china device ? :(
HVR-930C is not actually supported but dpeddi is working on that device with support of LinuxTV community ;)
I need to buy PCTV 290e :( ....
