Compile latest image on Debian

Hi,

i have problem to compile latest image on Debian Testing.

I always get this error

stdio.h:477:1: error: 'gets' undeclared here (not in a function)
| _GL_WARN_ON_USE (gets, "gets is a security hole - use fgets instead");

Is there any chance to compile image on debian ?
