connecting to pc on PcLinuxOs

Hi,
I am able to connect the VU+ duo using gnome network manager and KDE networkmanager to stream (and do updates etc).Can also connect via tFTP.

With PCLOS, however, I have spent AGES trying to do the same with their damned network manager, without success. Has anyone got a VU+ set up on PcLinuxOs?

Have tried their forum also, no correct answer.
