Convert the SoloSE to SoloSEv2 manually

Hi community,

Unfortunately, I bought the SoloSE and not the SoloSEv2. If you didn't realize yet, the SoloSEv2 holds double size of the flash memory. After installing BH3.0.1F, my SoloSE box has 90% of memory used.

I have decided to desolder the 256 MB NAND flash and solder a new one of 512MB. For doing so, I will need your help to verify that it is completely doable and feasible.

This video illustrates how to replace the NAND flash:
Code:

IMPORTANT: What I need is that someone with the SoloSEv2 provides me the mark on the 512MB Samsung flash memory. And if possible, a picture of it.

For instance, something like that:
$_35.JPG

Could you help me with that? I will upload my results and the how-to.

Cheers,

There are more changes than just the flash chip.

The motherboard is different too, so I am not sure what you are trying to do, will actually work.
