There was indeed a plugin to set the box's system clock to an NTP time server on the net: NtpDate.
It's now obsolete and needs some manual installation and configuration efforts to make it run on BH 2.x.x

hello i know its old post but i find a very simple solution
download DCC for vuplus, open the software and configure it with the ip of your routeur, the ip of vuplus, etc...
then, go to Telnet and write this :
date -s YYYY.MM.DD-hh:mm:ss (where YYYY is the current year, etc...)
for example for now in France :
date -s 2016.05.24-01:55:00
and Voila !
