Determine what is locking the tuner A/B

Question 1:

I have a dual tuner vu+ solo2. Is there a way to determine what is locking the tuners (A or B)? I suspect I was streaming locally over the network and it exited unexpectedly.

Question 2:

Is there a way to determine which satellite my motorised dish is currently aimed at, say the box is in standby and it might have been streaming, recording or being watched the last time it was used. I wonder if there's a way to find out which direction it was last pointing in?
