Do internal slots of Vu+ still support conax cards?

Today I got conax card from my cable provider, with intention of using it with my solo2 (with usb turbo dvbc tuner) for scrambled channels.

On my surprise the card did not work.

I know in the past all vu boxes used to support conax natively, is this still the case?

Or I need to install something on my solo2 in order the card to work?

You need a compatible CI module (CAM).

Coincidently I have one old conax cam from 2001(conax eurocam v1) that was byting dust all these years, tried it in the cam slot, but it did not got recognized unfortunately.

Is there any fix for this, or some alternative solution?
