DTS sound - it's quiet

Vu+ Newbie
Hi.
I am using VU Solo 4K and it has stopped playing DTS audio through the AV Receiver. Solo 4K is connected by optical and HDMI cable. Can anyone please advise me how to solve this, how to get DTS playback back? I currently use BH 3.0.9.P and the AV Receiver is a Yamaha RV-X 673.

Make sure you are passing audio through HDMI cable. Optical doesn't have enough bandwidth for DTS.

Actually optical fiber used in AV is much much less - 384kbps. It's not the fiber capacity, although fibers used for internet and AV-TV are different. It is transceivers capacity that limits bandwidth. By the time when this standard was adopted, 384kbps was thought that it is enough for 2 channels CD<->receiver lossless transfer.
