Internal duo 2 HDD

Hello all, newbie first post.

Just waiting for delivery of Western Digital 2TB WD Green WD20EZRX 3.5" HDD, does anyone know if it will be compatible with my vu plus duo 2.

I might have to send it back but would rather send it back unopened if it won't work, is it a good choice?

If it's a SATA HDD it's OK.

The VU+ Duo 2 can take either a SATA 3.5", or a SATA 2.5", hard drive, and all the ones I've tried, even ones from my older PC's, have worked, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Fitting is easy and there are videos, on youtube, showing how to install them.

If it's a SATA HDD it's OK.

SATA III 6Gb/s, IntelliPower, 64MB Cache 8ms OEM

Do not forget to make a skin update if you use BH 2.1.7 image
Otherwise you will be not able to make HDD initialisation .

DOWNLOAD SKIN FROM BH image server >> Skins>> SKIN DEFAULT BH 2.1.7 (BUG FIX HDD Initialisation)

Thanks Matrix, all part of my learning curve.

I e-mailed support at official VU address about a week ago to ask compatible HDD but no reply, seems customer service doesn't come very high to them.
