Duo locking up every few hours

Hi, i have a VU+ Duo about 4 years old now, ive got a problem that the picture freezes and the sound keeps going for a miniute longer then stops also, you get the light on the front of the box flashing while pressing the remote but nothing else can be done you have to turn it off at the back and then back on again.

ive flashed a fresh image with no plugings, just a channel scan, but stiill the same problem, its been working fine for the last few years except i had to change the capacitor around a year ago for the red light fix
 
just had the same problem I had a slack f connector , striped cable put f back on its been fine for 5 hours ,,, but we will see it some times took 12 hours for it to freez, good l@@k
