Duo2 Timer recordings problem

Hello folks,

Could someone offer some wisdom,
I'm having problems with the timer/recordings on duo2 using black hole 2.1.1
when i set the timer and then go to watch the recorded show the screen is just blank?
When i record using record button its fine no issues.
Any ideas? please help??/
 
How have you got your tuners configured? If using both tuners check to see which is set to be default for timer recordings.
Do you have an internal hard drive fitted or are you using a USB device?
Can you please describe how you're setting the timer.
 
I think it is a tuner problem, i dont have any knowledge of default tuner,
I have motor with two cables att LNB
Tuner A simple usals
Tuner B is second cable of lnb option.
It has worked previous so dont understand why now a problem.
I get signal on both tuners n sat test so not understand when i record no tuner available to watch another channel.???
 
Ive tried all that, still nothing, think its bug in blackhole TBH, ill install another image and see how i get on, not had much luck with BH on duo2
think solo2 was a safer bet.
 
lI have a DUO2 and run BH 2.1.0.1. It does show some issues when it is recording but not the same as you reported. The problems have not been resolved and do not know what causes the issues. Possible the image, plugin, harddisk, or a corrupted image. My receiver has 2 tuners, set as simple.
1. When it is in recording, I can watch another channel which is using another tuner. No black screen appears.
2. However, during the recording, I cannot change channel for more a couple of times. If I do change the channel, the receiver frozen and have to switch off by the rear switch.
3. I am waiting for a good timing to reflash the image to limite the posssibility of corrupt image-installtion.
4. Can you try to install an early version of BH, such as 2.0.9? I can confirm this version without any recording related issue in my case. If the test is failed, it is more likely a setting or hardware issue. If it is oky, it more likes an image related issue, I guess.
