Vu+ Newbie
Hi,
i've buy a vu+ sole se with a dvb-c/t/t2 tuner but i can't get any channel with automatic or manual scan.
i've the signal of two providers on a cable, one with dvb-t and other with dvb-c.
when i configure the tunner for dvb-t, i found all channels but i buy the box for the dvb-c signal but cant get any channel.
last week a friend succesfully configured a dm500 and a dm800 hd in my house, so i've exclude a cable problem.
any advice on how to get the dvb-c tunner to find channels?
the provider is cablecom in lausanne (switzerland).

thanks in advance.

In cables.xml, there is a section for "cablecom schweiz", and I don't know how to modify it with info for cable distributor: network id, frequency,... Any help would be appreciated.I've also tried a cables.xml that work on dm500 without success.
Network-ID: 43060
Fréquence MHz: 426
Fréquence kHz: 426000
Modulation: QAM64
Taux de symbole: 6900

I only use satellite tuners but I do remember another thread, on the forum, dealing with the cable issue and how to alter the cables.xml file.
If your Dreamboxes have scanned in the channels why not examine their cables.xml file and see if they're similar.

just to be sure that this tuner work without problem, is there someone who get it work with the 2.1.5 image or any other??

finallly get it to work. there was 2 problems:
- the first one was the cables.xml file. i've found a list of channels with frequencies and generate an appropriate one for my city.
- the second was and i think that it is a bug (to confirm):when you switch from T to C in hybrid tuner,it seem that the settings are not correct all the time. For exemple when i switched from tuner T to tuner C to scan the cable, in the operator list, there was the list of the terrestrial.xml file.to get he correct setting, i have to switch many time from dvb-t to dvb-c and vice versa.

After a switch from T to C have you tried to exit from tuner setup and re-enter on it to see if the problem about zone/city/provider not happen?
