Enhanced Movie Center hangs

I have one minor and one fatal problem with the EMC. They might relate to same issue. I bought my Duo2 (using openATV 5.1) some two weeks ago and I just can't figure these out - so hopefully you could help me.

First the minor one - when I go to EMC settings and I suppose to get some additional information for each setting line, I just get the name of the Help string i.e. HELP_About or HELP_Disable EMS (tried to link a picture here, but were not allowed to do so)


The fatal error relates to info as well. When in EMC (or watching a recording) I press the HELP button on a remote, the box hangs and does not react to any other remote command but vol+/- and mute (box indicates reading the commands though by flashing a mark in lcd panel). Even from WebIF, the commands restart GUI or device do not work. The power button in front of device does not react (the back panel switch works of course). Only thing that works is ssh terminal connection and the command "reboot".

I have reinstalled the image several times, even restored the factory settings and removed the emc and all the settings from /etc/enigma2 dir (files containing text EMC) and all the EMC related fromn the file "settings". Tried with the deafult skin, MyMetrix both in SD and HD mode, but nothing makes any diffrence.

The system debug log shows that there is an exception in a module MovieSelection.py ('list index out of range')

Is there a mandatory plugin related to EMC that I might have missed? Or any other module?

Any kind of help is appreciated - I'm getting a bit desperate...

Regarding, EMC can you point us the image used on your DUO2 STB, and EMC version used.
I have installed EMC V 1.0 from 26/11/2015 ( feeds version ), using Blackhole 3.0.1 or Open BlackHole 0.1 without issues.
